As Carl Jung said, "The world will ask you who you are, and if you don't know, the world will tell you." AND "Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."

For people who want to awaken to themselves, learn more about their inner landscape and expand their understanding and compassion for others, Typology takes a deep dive into the human personality with all its nuances. This is a podcast that interviews a variety of authors about their life findings while discovering the complexities of the Enneagram.  The Enneagram is a personality tool that, when explored in depth, allows people to understand the motives behind their behaviors and the patterns they have lived in for so long.  The Enneagram offers an exploration of the lens through which an individual views the world. This tool reveals patterns of behavior specific to the nine types of personalities and the 27 subtypes. Knowledge of the enneagram is helpful when listening to the interviews as the host will often talk with people about their “number” (lens through which they view the world).

Recovering addict, long-time AA attendee, psychotherapist, Episcopal priest, Enneagram teacher, and co-author of The Road Back to You, the host of Typology, Ian Cron captivates his audiences with his skill of going deep and asking the challenging questions in life. He engages his guests on the show with an inner sense of joy, compassion, and curiosity.  Listening to his show often feels like we have been looking through a foggy window, and as the episode continues, the “windex” of deep questioning clears away a path of intense self-discovery for both the guest and the listener.

This podcast interviews a plethora of authors, covering concepts such as personal growth, addictions, sexuality, spirituality, over-achieving, true intimacy, self-acceptance, contemplative practices, confronting fears, attachment, humility, friendship, and more!!
